With departing on any one of our safaris from Johannesburg and Pretoria, we provide a FREE door-to-door collection and drop off service, from any hotel, guesthouse, bed & breakfast, family or friends house. Door-to-door is for your convenience and forms part of our safety service.

Overland: Oliver Tambo International Airport (JNB)

On planning to depart on a safari directly off your international flight arriving at Oliver Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg, you need to ensure you book a flight that arrives as early in the morning as possible; say 7.00 - 7.30am. With domestic flights book to arrive 8.00 - 8.30am at the very latest. We'll meet you off your international or domestic flight and start your safari.

If your planning means you are unable to arrive early, we suggest you:

A) Book a domestic flight from Oliver Tambo Int Airport (JNB) to Kruger Mpumalanga Int Airport (KMIA) or Mpumalanga Airport (MQP) for Kruger Park or Hoedspruit Airport (HDS) for Sabi Sand Reserve - see below for more on fly-in

B) Book up accommodation at a B&B, guest lodge or hotel near to Oliver Tambo Int Airport or in an area called Sandton, for the rest of the day/night. We'll start your safari from where you stayed, the next morning at 7.00 - 7.30am.

Note: Sandton is an exclusive area in the Northern suburbs of Johannesburg with restaurants, quality shopping malls and many other facilities. For hotels in Sandton or near to Oliver Tambo Int Airport, we recommend the following hotels as they suit different budgets: Road Lodge, Town Lodge or City Lodge - www.citylodge.co.za This hotel group offers an airport shuttle service.

We will contact you at your hotel the evening before, to confirm the mornings collection time. If you are out for dinner we will leave a message. In general your Safari Ranger will pick you up in the morning between 7.00 - 7.30am, with an earlier collection in the morning on our walking safaris, between 5.00 - 6.00am.

Flying-in Safari directly from Johannesburg

Fly-in: Kruger National Park

From Oliver Tambo Int Airport in Johannesburg (JNB) you can fly into Kruger Mpumalanga Int Airport (KMIA) or Mpumalanga Airport (MQP) as both airports are near to Kruger Park. We will meet you off your flight and within 1 hour you will be in Kruger Park game viewing.

Fly-in: Sabi Sand Reserve

From Oliver Tambo Int Airport in Johannesburg (JNB) book to fly directly into Hoedspruit Airport (HDS) if possible, as it's the nearest airport  to the Sabi Sand Reserve. We will meet you off your flight and within 1 hour you will enter the Sabi Sands, making your way to the lodge.

2) If you have flights already booked, we will co-ordinate the starting & finishing of your safari to suit your flight arrival and departure times. Just let us know your flight details with your initial safari enquiry.

3) Travelling the 4/5 hours overland from Jo'burg to the Kruger Park or the Sabi Sands passes by very quickly. On route you will have the opportunity to see more of scenic South Africa and enjoy chatting to your Safari Ranger as he/she introduces you to the experiences and sites you can expect to see on your safari.

4) Our fly-in safari prices promoted on our website do not include the cost of domestic flights.

5) The Panoramic Route is only included on the overland safaris as it forms part of the returning journey back to Jo'burg or Pretoria.

6) Meeting up at any airport is easy. After you have collected your baggage, continue to walk through the arrival gates and you will see your Safari Ranger dressed in Safari Rangers uniform holding a board with your name on. You will not miss seeing your Safari Ranger!

7) Our overland safaris arrive back in Jo'burg for approx 6.00pm. You will need to book flights out from Oliver Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg (JNB) for around 7.30 - 8.30pm. This gives you time to check in, have something to eat and spend some time shopping at duty free.

8) When travelling overland back to Jo'burg, we will always make sure you are in time for your flight. There is no need to be concerned about missing a flight out of Jo'burg. It is of course important with your safari planning to make sure you allow for the relevant number of hours to 'check in' for your flight. You would need your airline to confirm this to you.

Your email enquiry - ask as many questions as you like

Once you have decided on a safari that meets your requirements and falls within your budget, send an email off to us, requesting a check on availability. To assist us with checking availability, we do require the following information with your email:

A) Your choice of safari - Walking, Classic, Combo, Sabi Sands etc

B) Number of days required. Extra days can be added with prices pro-rata by the number of nights.

C) Number of people - Minimum 2 people to any number of people in a private group. Our safaris are also family friendly. Please advise us of your children's ages at time of safari. We do keep family groups separated but it's not always possible.

D) Required departure date - We depart on any day suiting your planning as long as there is a minimum of two people making up your safari.

E) Collection and drop off requirements - Can be advised at a later time when you have finalised your planning. We do include a free door-to-door collection and drop off service from any hotel in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Nelspruit.

We also include free collection and drop off service to/from Oliver Tambo Int Airport, Mpumalanga Kruger International Airport, Mpumalanga Airport and from Hoedspruit Airport.

We will endeavour to reply to your email with a suitable safari offer within 48 hours.

Booking your safari - once deposit is paid your safari is guaranteed

With our safari offer email we will attach a 'Booking Form' for you to print off and fax back to us fully completed. If the attachment fails to open or could not pass through your firewall, print off the form at the following: credit-card-form.htm

As soon as we are in receipt of your form we will immediately charge your credit card the deposit payment which will ensure your safari is secured and guaranteed. A deposit payment confirmation will be sent to you by email.

The final payment will be required to be paid twenty-one (21) days before departure. We will automatically charge your credit card the final payment when due.

Note: If you require us to charge your final payment from a different credit card to the one used for your deposit, just fax off a newly filled out credit card form to us. A final payment confirmation will be sent by email.
